According to reports in Italy, via Sport Witness, Wolves are set to do battle with Bologna for FC Basel centre-back Jonas Adjetey.

The Ghana international, who is only 22 but already has seven caps for his nation, has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the last couple of years, joining Basel for just €25k (£22k) before developing into one of their most important players.

The Swiss outfit are thus expected to be happy to bank a huge profit regardless of where Adjetey ends up.
