Mark Ramprakash has been disciplined by the England & Wales Cricket Board, following an incident during Surrey’s Frizzell County Championship Division One match against Middlesex at Guildford on July 26.Ramprakash was reported by the umpires Mark Benson and Peter Hartley for a Level Two breach of the ECB’s discipline code (using language or gesture that is obscene or of a serious insulting nature to another player, umpire, referee, team official or spectator), for which he receives three penalty points.These will remain on Ramprakash’s record for a period of 12 months. The accumulation of nine or more penalty points in any 12-month period results in an automatic suspension.
