However, thanks to Gabriel Jesus and David Silva, Pep Guardiola and co got back to winning ways after losing against Wolves in their previous fixture.

It could have been even more for the title holders, as well. At one point, Jesus attempted to shoot from a difficult position with several Eagles bodies in front of him. If he had just looked up to his right, he would have seen Kevin De Bruyne in acres of space, with the Belgium international just needing to tap the ball into an empty net. In the end, though, the chance was wasted.
