Leroy Sane took to social media in the aftermath of Manchester City’s 3-1 win over Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.

The 21-time Germany international has not played for the English champions since picking up a serious knee injury against Liverpool in the Community Shield back in August.

Sane is believed to be entering the latter stages of his recovery, though, and a lot of the City fans are desperate to see the attacker back on the field as soon as possible.

The winger’s fitness was not the only thing on the mind of the club’s fans, though, with many wanting answers when it comes to his future.

Indeed, Sane continues to be linked with a move to Bayern Munich, and it was recently claimed that a deal could even go through during the January window.

One supporter even claimed that they would pay for Sane to sign a new deal at the Etihad Stadium, although that is likely to be one hefty bill.

Sane has scored 39 times and registered 45 assists in 134 appearances for the Citizens since arriving from Bundesliga side Schalke 04 in the summer of 2016.

The German will see his contract with Pep Guardiola’s side expire at the end of next season, though, and it remains to be seen whether he will represent the club again.

Meanwhile, City are reportedly eyeing a South American forward as a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero.
