da leao: Everton have arrivals on the agenda under David Moyes and have now received a reply in their quest to sign an international who has impressed in one of Europe’s top five leagues.
Everton keen to move up Premier League table
da fazobetai: After the frustration of their FA Cup exit against Sunderland last weekend, the Toffees have a few days to prepare before their Premier League clash at Aston Villa on Sunday.
David Moyes made it clear that he was frustrated at his side after they were consigned to another trophyless campaign, even if they were a slightly more effective force in the second half of proceedings.
He said: “We did well to get ourselves back into the game and hung in when we had to. Disappointed with the penalties, but it can happen. I didn’t think we were very good in the first half but got better in the second half. Still, not to the levels where we have been in recent weeks, but better in the second half.”
Now, the mission to acquire new faces will come into question as Everton try to propel themselves into the top-half of the Premier League table, with the forward areas coming in for special attention after Thierno Barry and Beto’s struggled in front of goal.
Tammy Abraham has been offered to the Toffees after his excellent form at Besiktas. Roma, his parent club, feel there is an opportunity to sell him if an English club can meet their desired valuation.
Nevertheless, Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Nottingham Forest, and Leeds United have also been given the opportunity to bring in the Englishman this month, though Everton have now been given a reply concerning their pursuit of an alternative Serie A star.
Everton make Nathan Patterson plus cash offer for Emil Holm
According to Corriere Della Sara, Everton have put forward Nathan Patterson plus cash in exchange to sign Bologna star Emil Holm, though it appears that they have been rebuffed by the Serie A outfit.
Above all, injuries to Vincenzo Italiano’s defenders appear to have put the prospect of a deal in doubt, with Jhon Lucumi out due to an Achilles tendon injury.

On the flip side, Patterson has suffered regular injuries since his move to Everton from Rangers back in 2022, leaving him behind Jake O’Brien in the pecking order as Moyes contemplates whether to shuffle his pack during the January window.
O’Brien has become an auxiliary full-back solution, and his best role is arguably as a central defender. The Toffees being able to sign Holm would alleviate pressure on the Irishman to provide attacking width.
