The Western Australian Cricket Association is delighted to announce agreement with Radio 6PR for expanded coverage of Western Warriors matches.The announcement was made today by WACA General Manager Business Development, Darren Beazley and Radio 882 6PR Sports Director, Mr Peter Vlahos.Mr. Beazley said he is excited about at new broadcast opportunities presented by 6PR.Radio 882 6PR will broadcast Warriors matches from the eastern states over weekends in an extension of the station’s afternoon summer sports programming."Through Southern Cross Broadcasting, Radio 6PR is already one of our important Media Partners and this extension of Warriors coverage is an important development in our strategic marketing efforts to raise the profile and brand image of the Warriors," Mr Beazley said.Mr Vlahos said 6PR sport was committed to increasing coverage and exposure of the Warriors."We’re excited about our expanded commitment to cricket on the back of our extended sports coverage across the weekends in summer," he said.Radio 882 6PR will also substantially increase its coverage of WACA club cricket across weekends over the 2003-04 summer.
