The Brazilian winger was red carded in a wild game, after a clash with goalkeeper Dimitrievski. The Brazilian bizarrely pushed the Valencia stopper in the head and was sent off, leaving Real with a mountain to climb as they were reduced to 10 men while 1-0 down. Nevertheless, Carlo Ancelotti's side fought back in dramatic fashion to secure an important win.
