da betcris: Tottenham have made a ‘surprise’ approach to sign a West Ham star, with the Lilywhites also told his affordable asking price, according to a fresh update this afternoon.
Thomas Frank buys lifeline after Dortmund win
da winzada777: Thomas Frank bought himself valuable time on Tuesday night after Tottenham secured a 2-0 Champions League victory against Borussia Dortmund, just days after fans demanded his dismissal.
The Danish manager faced chants of “getting sacked in the morning” following Saturday’s home loss to West Ham, which represented Tottenham’s eighth defeat in 14 league games under his watch.
However, Spurs’ excellent European record under the Dane continues.
Cristian Romero netted the opener early doors after a Wilson Odobert delivery, with the same player later assisting Dominic Solanke for Tottenham’s second goal before halftime.
The home side were also gifted a one-man advantage when referee Glenn Nyberg issued a red card to Daniel Svensson, after he challenged Odobert with high studs.
The result propels Spurs into fourth position in the league phase, mathematically securing at minimum a playoff berth in February. Should they defeat Eintracht Frankfurt next Wednesday, Tottenham will bypass the playoff entirely by finishing among the top eight qualifiers for March’s round of 16.

Frank also acknowledged how good the support was after experiencing hostile treatment days earlier, describing it as remarkable.
The manager was subject to board discussions regarding his tenure following the West Ham loss. On Monday, Frank met with key decision-makers including Nick Beucher, Vinai Venkatesham, and Johan Lange (Sky Sports), and emerged confident about his backing from the club.
His squad featured just 11 available outfield players due to injuries and suspensions (Sky Sports), yet produced one of their strongest European performances this campaign.
Reports surrounding Frank’s potential sacking will ease for the time being after a much-needed win, with attention turning instead to the transfer market.
Spurs are very much targeting a new forward after signing both Souza and Conor Gallagher, and it is now believed they’ve moved for a West Ham star who gave them nightmares last weekend.
Tottenham make 'surprise' Crysencio Summerville approach
As per journalist Ben Jacobs, and other sources, Tottenham have now made a ‘surprise’ approach to sign Crysencio Summerville, who scored the opening goal in their 2-1 defeat to the Hammers.
The Dutchman, who’s been picking up some form lately ahead of this summer’s World Cup, could also leave the London Stadium for a pretty reasonable £25 million.
Tottenham desperately need reinforcements out wide following a trio of attacking setbacks this month.
Brennan Johnson departed for Crystal Palace in a £35m transfer, eliminating one attacking option, while Mohammed Kudus suffered a significant quad tendon injury against Sunderland and will remain sidelined until after the March international break.

Adding to Frank’s concerns, Mathys Tel has reportedly asked to leave after being excluded from the Champions League squad for Dominic Solanke’s return, pushing the French forward to breaking point.
Taking this into account, Summerville for £25 million could be a great option.
His second-tier pedigree speaks volumes, with Summerville’s 19 goals and nine assists during Leeds’ promotion campaign earning him a PFA Championship Player of the Season award.
Como scout Ben Mattinson has also called him a ‘great finisher’, and while his Premier League stats this term look fairly modest, he operates in a struggling West Ham side.
In Tottenham’s system, surrounded by superior talent, the ‘brilliant’ and ‘explosive’ Summerville could flourish.
