da dobrowin: PA Media have shared a major update on the future of Tottenham manager Thomas Frank, as the club weigh up options to replace the Dane.

Spurs eyeing candidates as Frank nears sack

da betsson: Tottenham’s 2-1 home defeat to West Ham appears to have been the straw that broke the camel’s back for Frank’s time in North London.

The former Brentford boss was booed by his own fans after the away defeat at Bournemouth and again this weekend following Callum Wilson’s late winner for a relegation-threatened Hammers side.

Mauricio Pochettino’s name is being floated around in media circles but the more likely option appears to be Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler, who is apparently in the box seat to take over if Frank is sacked.

Frank is due to take Tottenham training on at 2:15pm on Monday, and PA Media have shared an update ahead of the open session.

Tottenham officials weighing up Frank's future

According to their reporter George Sessions, Frank’s assertion that he still has the club’s backing may not be entirely true.

Another name could join the fray is former Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez, who is currently out of work and may perhaps be easier to bring in than established Premier League names like Hurzeler or Fulham manager Marco Silva.
